João IV, nº 340, 4000-298 Porto, legal person n.º 504 812 548, registered at the Commercial Registry Office of Porto, duly notified to the National Data Protection Commission, having applied  the necessary security measures to guarantee the security and confidentiality of the data, in accordance with article 14 and following of the referred Law.

The trust that customers place in LEILOSOC® Worldwide products and services depends on the ability to protect their personal data when visiting the website www.leilosoc.com. The following information about the Privacy Policy reflects the commitment of LEILOSOC® Worldwide to maintain and guarantee secure business relationships through the protection of personal data, guaranteeing the right to privacy of all users of the Website. The new updates to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy came into effect on May 25th, 2018, and by using LEILOSOC® Worldwide services from that date, you agree with them. It is recommended that you read the document in full. However, these are the main updates to the Privacy Policy:

  • More control and transparency regarding the sharing of customer data with other entities;

  • More transparency about how customer data is shared, so as to avoid harm, obey the law, serve the public interest;

  • More focus on how public data is shared effectively.

With the new policy, there is the possibility to control and limit the information and personal data collected as well as the way we use it.

What is Personal Data?

“Personal Data” concerns the information about a person that is made available to us when that person visits the Website www.leilosoc.com. Among others, the first name, surname, email address, or telephone number are included. Furthermore, when you visit the Website, there is certain information that is automatically stored for technical reasons (e.g. the IP address assigned by your Internet access provider, the website from which you accessed the LEILOSOC® Worldwide website or the browser being used).

What is Personal Data used for and with which purpose?

Likewise, when your personal data is collected from forms that can be presented on www.leilosoc.com related to the activities of this Website, it will be necessary to fill in, at least, the fields marked with an asterisk since, if these data considered necessary is not provided, it will not be possible to process the sending of the Newsletter or resolve the doubts that are raised.

To access some features of the Website, such as consulting the Auctions' Calendar, auction details (description of the asset being auctioned, photographs, type of asset, reference, manufacturer, insolvent estate), available properties and information on how to proceed with the sale of equipment, you do not need to be registered. However, to participate in an auction, that is, to bid, you need to be registered on our platform (www.leilosoc.com). In this case, you will provide some of your personal data in exchange for LEILOSOC® Worldwide services. The email will be used to notify the customer in the event of an award, to make payments and withdrawals, as well as to send the newsletter.

  • Contact Information and Adress Books

Your contact information, such as your email address, is used to activate and authenticate your account, as well as keep your account and our services secure, preventing spam, fraud, and abuse. Likewise, LEILOSOC® Worldwide reserves the right to access, read, preserve, and disclose any information it believes to be reasonably necessary to:

  • Comply with the Terms, including investigating possible violations of this agreement;

  • Detect, prevent or otherwise deal with fraud, security or technical issues;

LEILOSOC® Worldwide does not disclose personal information to third parties, except in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

  • Your Account

To access some features of the service on the www.leilosoc.com platform, you need to create an account. You are responsible for protecting your account, so your password must be used exclusively. LEILOSOC® Worldwide cannot be and will not be liable for any other damage resulting from non-compliance with the above. You can control most communications through the Services.   • Terms Termination

You can terminate your legal agreement with LEILOSOC® Worldwide, by deactivating your account and discontinuing our services.

  • We may suspend or terminate your account or stop providing you with all or any part of the Services at any time and for any reason, including – without limitation – if we have reason to believe that:

    • Violated these Terms or the Rules of LEILOSOC® Worldwide;

    • Represents a risk or potential legal risk to us;

    • Your account must be removed due to illegal conduct;

    • Providing the Services is no longer commercially viable.

An effort will be made to notify you by email at the address associated with your account or the next time you attempt to access your account, depending on the circumstances. In all the above cases, the Terms, including, without limitation, your license to use the Services will expire.

Liability Limitations

By using the services, you agree that the liability of LEILOSOC® Worldwide, its parent companies, affiliates, related companies, its directors, consultants, employees, representatives, partners, and licensors, is limited to the maximum extent permitted in your country of residence.

General

These terms may be revised from time to time. Modifications will not be retroactive, and the most current version will oversee the relationship between LEILOSOC® Worldwide and its users. Except where changes are made to comply with legal requirements, you will be notified 30 days prior to the validation date of these Terms about changes that affect the rights or obligations of those, for example, by notification by the service or by an email sent to the email account associated with your account. By continuing to access or use the Services after the effective date of the revisions, you agree to be bound by the amended version of the Terms.
